And then there were...eight?!

On Friday Bee went back to the vet for her seven week check up and x-rays to get an estimate on the puppy count. It felt both miraculous -- and at the same time totally bizarre -- to see all of those little skeletons! Dr. Duke (Pilchuck Veterinary) showed us how to count the heads and spines and match them up. We counted eight. As you can see, the x-rays are a little fuzzy - and he said anything over eight can be hard to count as they are like a 'barrel of monkeys' in there :). Based on what I see - I think eight is a great estimate. Now we are on the countdown of the final 2 weeks.
